  • Municipal payment options during the postal strike

    Delivery of water sewer bills, taxes, and other invoices or payments mailed to us could be impacted by the postal strike. Please note that customers are still responsible for paying bills on time and that late charges will apply if payments are not received on time.

  • Canada Post Service Disruption & Municipal Utility Bills

    Attention: EXETER RESIDENTS & HURON PARK MONTHLY UTILITY CUSTOMERS 

    Due to the national strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), municipal utility bills may not be delivered to our customers subscribed to received paper copies before the November 29 payment deadline.

  • Exeter Main Street- Weekly Update-November 15, 2024

    This week the contractor continued installation of new sidewalks, concrete boulevards, and final preparation for base asphalt on the west side of Main Street from the bridge to Walper Street. Traffic continues to be shifted onto the new asphalt on the east side of Main Street from the bridge to Walper Street. Access to all businesses is being reasonably maintained during construction.

  • Planning for a potential Canada Post mail service disruption

    The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has issued a 72-hour strike notice. This indicates a potential Canada Post mail service disruption could start as early as Friday, November 15, depending on the results of ongoing labour negotiations.

  • Exeter Main Street- Weekly Update-November 8, 2024

    The contractor has completed the installation of the watermain, sanitary / storm service stubs, gravel road base and new curb on the west side of Main Street from the bridge to Walper Street.

  • Fall Leaf Pickup Extended

    The fall leaf bag pickup will be extended until Friday, November 15.
    Once the collection period has ended, staff will no longer collect any items that are set curbside. You may take your leaves and debris to the South Huron Landfill free of charge at any time. Please refer to the South Huron website for Landfill operating hours.

  • Remembrance Day Hours

    The Municipal Office and Landfill Site will be closed on Monday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.
