Beach Day Use Parks

Enjoy a perfect beach day along the shores of Lake Huron, where pristine sands and clear waters provide an ideal setting for relaxation and recreation. Our beach offers a family-friendly environment with amenities for picnics, swimming, and soaking up the sun, ensuring a memorable day by the water.

Port Blake (Grand Bend)

  • Located at 71155B Bluewater Highway (Hwy 21), Grand Bend
  • Open Daily 8 am to 10 pm May 15 - Sept 15
  • $30.00/vehicle flat daily rate 
  • No cash accepted, debit only
  • Washroom, picnic tables, pavilion and garbage receptacles provided 
  • No Bus's or Recreational Vehicles (RV's) over 28 ft 

Rules to Guide and Assist You While Enjoying Our Park

  • Pets must be on a leash, please stop and scoop. 
  • No alcohol
  • No camping (all vehicles must leave park area by 10 PM)
  • Fires in provided receptacles only
  • Visitors may bring their own BBQs
  • No rowdy behaviour or loud music
  • No fireworks
  • No glass containers 
  • Park only in designated area
  • Place garbage in provided containers

Our parks and playgrounds provide safe and inviting spaces for families to enjoy outdoor activities and create lasting memories together. From open green spaces to engaging play structures, our amenities cater to all ages and interests, fostering community enjoyment and well-being.

  • Playground equipment located beside a baseball diamond and pavilion with accessible washrooms

Elliott Park

  • Located at 12 Church Street, on the west side of Main Street Exeter along the Ausable River
  • Elliott Park operates annually from the Friday of Victoria Day long weekend to Thanksgiving Monday, weather permitting.
  • It is important to review the Elliott Park Policy By-law for full details on permitted uses of the park, prior to arrival.  
  • Eight (8) campsites available on a first come, first serve basis (no reservations). Maximum of three (3) consecutive nights, no more than twice per month.
  • Potable water and dumping station available.

MacNaughton-Morrison Trail - access within MacNaughton Park

The MacNaughton-Morrison Trail links with the Morrison Dam Conservation Area to create the 8-kilometre South Huron Trail. The trail is supported by many local groups and the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation.
