Curbside Garbage and Recycling Pickup Services
All residents of South Huron are reminded to remove their garbage and recycling receptacles from the curb no later than 12 hours after curbside pickup has been completed.
We offer weekly curbside garbage and recycling pickup for residents based on where they live.
- Tuesday pickup includes Corbett, Dashwood, Greenway, Shipka, Mt. Carmel and Lakeshore area
- Friday pickup includes Exeter, Centralia, Crediton, Huron Park, Kirkton, Woodham and area
The municipality's garbage and recycling collection and processing provider is the Bluewater Recycling Association (BRA). BRA is a rural non-profit organization that develops and maintains facilities on behalf of the municipal sector.
Garbage and recycling bin fees are charged quarterly on utility bills according to the following rates:

| Garbage Bins, Small (35 gallon) | $101.08 per year per bin |
| Garbage Bins, Medium (65 gallon) | $126.50 per year per bin |
| Garbage Bins, Large ( 95 gallon) | $164.35 per year per bin |
If you have a lost or damaged bin, or would like to request a different size you may report it online or contact 519-235-0310 ext. 230.
If you would like to report a missed collection please report it online directly to BRA.

Hazardous Waste
Hazardous materials can be dangerous to people as well as the environment. Be sure to bring your hazardous waste products to the proper depot!
