Payment Options

We have a number of options available to our customers for making payments. Payment must be received at the municipal office by the due date to avoid penalty.

Telephone or Internet payments can be made through most major financial institutions.  Search “South Huron” under the list of bill payees:

  • For Accounts Receivable invoices – add South Huron Receivable as the payee.  Your customer / account number will be the Customer ID located at the top right of your accounts receivable invoice.  Please note that some banks require a 10 digit Customer ID to be used instead of the 8 digit customer ID that appears on your invoice.  If this is the case, please add an extra two zeros (00) to your Customer ID so that the bank will accept the Customer ID).
  • For Property Tax bills – add South Huron Taxes as the payee.  Your customer / account number will be the last 15 digits of your property roll number (drop the 40-10 at the beginning of your roll number), found on your property tax bill.
  • For Utility / Water bills – add South Huron Utilities / Water as the payee.  Your customer / account number will be the 8 digit account number (do not include the decimal) listed on your utility bill.

Payments can also be made in person at most financial institutions or through an ATM.
