Fire & Fire Prevention

The Municipality of South Huron Fire Department currently has 70 personnel including volunteer fire fighters staffing three Fire Stations in Exeter, Huron Park and Dashwood.  The total area that these departments serve is 425 square kilometers with an average of 100 calls per year.

The Fire Department is comprised of the following: 1 pumper, 3 pumper tankers, 1 tanker, 1 aerial ladder and 3 rescue vehicles.  Each station has their own association of firefighters that conduct fundraising events and funds have been used to purchase equipment for their halls and in support of Muscular Dystrophy.
